We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial HVAC Sales Representative to join our team at Mike Moore Sales & Consulting LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with consulting engineering firms, controls, mechanical contractors, and building owners to sell our range of HVAC and critical environment products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow our account share across our entire line card of HVAC and critical environment product offerings.
- Build partnering relationships with assigned consulting engineering firm accounts to earn basis of design (BOD), influence specifications, and lead account and project strategies.
- Actively call on assigned controls, mechanical contractors, and building owners to sell our entire range of HVAC and critical environment products.
- Participate and collaborate with the sales team to pursue projects based on account assignments and honor credit split guidelines.
- Understand and communicate MMS's strengths and competitors' weaknesses to drive opportunities for maximum advantage.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards, pertinent building codes, and best practices for design of HVAC and critical environmental systems.
- A college degree and/or experience in HVAC/critical environments or a related field, such as engineering or controls.
- Must be available for overnight travel, including some weekends, several times per year.
- Must have a valid driver's license and own a dependable vehicle for sales calls and company travel.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and be comfortable working in tight/confined spaces and carrying up to 50 lbs. for short distances.
- A competitive salary and bonus package with a total compensation package expectation of >100k annualized (commission-based with draw).
