Leadership Philanthropy Officer

MaineHealth, a leading healthcare organization in Maine, seeks a skilled Leadership Gift Officer to join its development team. This role is focused on building relationships with key stakeholders and securing leadership gift commitments to support MaineHealth's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to identify, cultivate, and solicit leadership gift prospects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement fundraising campaigns and events.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and reports to secure leadership gift commitments.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in leadership giving and philanthropy.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or CFRE or CAP certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of development experience, ideally in a healthcare or academic medical center setting.
- Excellent written and oral communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work autonomously under pressure.
- Ability to travel when necessary, both in-state and out-of-state.
