Job Summary:

The Midwest Peterbilt Group is seeking a skilled Inbound Phone Sales person to join our team. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth through effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Determine replacement parts required by customers through phone requests or descriptions of malfunctions
Inform customers about substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available
Fill parts orders received by telephone
Utilize computer or catalog to determine part stock numbers and prices
Receive and fill telephone orders for parts
Prepare wreck estimates and fax to customers
Maintain a neat and organized work area
Complete training requirements for the parts department
Attend scheduled parts meetings

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Intermediate to advanced computer skills required
1 year of experience in the heavy-duty truck industry preferred
Prior call room experience required
