Role Overview

We are in search of exceptionally skilled Engagement Managers in the Chicago region to provide strategic counsel to clients on critical growth-related issues, including market trends, disruptive technologies, commercial due diligence, and intellectual property matters. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and highly motivated individual, dedicated to leading client engagements, maximizing impact, and enhancing the overall growth of the firm through thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in crafting proposals, developing work plans, and determining resource needs.
  • Synthesize team findings into comprehensive written reports and present conclusions to senior executives.
  • Drive the development of unique insights related to client strategies and effectively communicate these findings.

Compensation

Compensation will be aligned with experience, closely matching that of similar roles within the professional services sector, including a base salary and performance bonuses.

Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting, preferably with a focus on strategy consulting, M&A advisory, or equity research.
  • Postgraduate degree from a prestigious institution.
  • Strong academic background with a high GPA and SAT scores.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and intellectually curious with a strong executive presence.
  • Proven experience in developing client proposals and leading engagements.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop strategic frameworks for analysis.
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting rigorous quantitative analysis.
  • Passion for generating unique insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management and team leadership skills.
  • Collaborative team-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
