Position Summary:
We are in search of highly skilled Associates/Senior Associates in the Chicago area to guide clients through critical strategic challenges associated with growth initiatives, market trends, disruptive technologies, and intellectual property considerations. Key Responsibilities:
The Associate/Senior Associate will be tasked with delivering essential analytical and quantitative elements of client projects involving Fortune 500 companies and prominent private equity firms. This role involves collaborating with both Red Chalk Group and client teams to uncover unique insights related to client strategies. The Associate/Senior Associate will also be responsible for synthesizing findings into comprehensive written reports and presenting conclusions to senior management.

Compensation:
Compensation will be aligned with experience and will closely mirror that of similar roles within the professional services sector, including a base salary plus performance bonuses. This position does not require travel.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in consulting, with a preference for candidates from top-tier consulting firms.
  • Self-motivated and assertive, demonstrating high self-confidence and intellectual curiosity.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering specific components of broader client engagements.
  • Experience in conducting rigorous quantitative analyses.
  • Ability to approach problems with structured and logical thinking, proposing hypotheses and developing strategic frameworks for analysis.
  • Passion for generating unique insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Exemplary organizational, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Interest in emerging technologies.
  • A bachelor's degree from a reputable institution with a strong GPA; an engineering degree is preferred. An MBA or MS from a top-tier institution is advantageous.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
