Position Summary:

Red Chalk Group is in search of highly skilled Engagement Managers in the Chicago region to provide strategic counsel to clients on pivotal issues surrounding growth strategies, market dynamics, technological disruptions, and intellectual property considerations. We seek a dynamic and passionate individual committed to leading client engagements, maximizing impact, and fostering the overall development of the firm through insightful leadership.

Engagement Managers will spearhead project teams in crafting proposals, developing work plans, and determining resource allocations. They will also synthesize team insights into comprehensive reports and present conclusions to senior executives. We are looking for innovative leaders who are focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for both Fortune 500 companies and leading private equity firms.

The Engagement Manager will guide both Red Chalk Group and client teams in generating unique and valuable insights related to client strategies, compiling findings into detailed reports, and presenting conclusions to senior management.

Compensation: Salary will be aligned with experience, with total compensation reflecting industry standards for similar roles within professional services, including base salary and performance bonuses.

Qualifications:

Experience:
3-5 years in consulting, preferably with a focus on strategy consulting. Candidates with backgrounds in M&A advisory or equity research will also be considered.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of consulting experience, with a postgraduate degree from a reputable institution.
  • A bachelor's degree from a distinguished educational establishment, demonstrating strong academic performance.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, and possessing a high level of self-assurance and intellectual curiosity.
  • Proven experience in developing client proposals, nurturing client relationships, and leading project engagements.
  • Ability to think critically and logically, dissecting problems and proposing hypothesis-driven approaches.
  • Demonstrated capability to identify and define key business questions and challenges.
  • Experience in conducting rigorous quantitative analyses.
