Role Summary

The Legal Support Specialist collaborates closely with attorneys, managing cases during the Pre-Litigation phase while ensuring effective communication with clients, medical providers, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage daily with clients, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers through various communication channels.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify all potential defendants and insurance coverage options.
  • Request and diligently follow up on the collection of essential documentation, including police reports, medical records, and insurance policies.
  • Review, upload, and process incoming correspondence using a paperless system.
  • Organize and maintain the attorney's schedule, ensuring timely appointments and meetings.
  • Participate in client consultations alongside the attorney.
  • Update case files with pertinent information, including treatment details, insurance verifications, and medical provider communications.
  • Prepare legal demands and closing documentation as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience in an office environment.
  • Demonstrated customer service excellence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of cases.
