Job Summary
The Legal Support Specialist collaborates closely with Attorneys, managing cases during the Pre-Litigation phase while ensuring effective communication with clients, medical providers, and internal teams.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Engage daily with clients, insurance representatives, and healthcare providers through various communication channels.
- Conduct thorough research to identify all potential Defendants and relevant Insurance coverage.
- Request and diligently follow up on the collection of essential documents, including police reports, 911 calls, insurance policies, medical records, bills, and liens.
- Review, upload, and manage daily correspondence received via email, fax, or through the firm’s paperless system.
- Organize and maintain the Attorney's calendar effectively.
- Participate in client meetings alongside the Attorney.
- Ensure that case files are updated with all pertinent information, including treatment details, records, bills, insurance coverages, and liens.
- Assist in the preparation of demands and closing statements.
- A minimum of one year of experience in an office environment.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
- Strong multitasking capabilities, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a substantial case load.
