Position Title: Adult Residential Assistant Administrator

Overview: Klamath Basin Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee our residential, respite, and ancillary services. Role Summary: The Adult Residential Assistant Administrator is tasked with ensuring the effective operation of residential programs in the absence of the Administrator. This includes maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and delivering services that meet the highest clinical and ethical benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery of care and treatment tailored to the needs of residents.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensure requirements.
- Coordinate staffing to meet the needs outlined by regulatory standards.
- Facilitate collaboration with community providers for seamless transitions in care.
- Foster positive relationships with external agencies, professionals, families, and clients.
- Exemplify a positive agency image and uphold high standards among staff.
- Communicate agency policies and values effectively to team members.
- Develop and implement operational policies in accordance with applicable laws.
- Maintain accurate facility and resident records as required.
- Report on program operations to the licensee and program director.
- Ensure the program operates within all regulatory frameworks.
Supervisory Duties: In the absence of the Program Administrator, the Assistant will supervise Adult Residential Specialists.
Work Schedule: Weekend coverage is required, with flexible options available.
Qualifications: Candidates must meet Oregon State requirements and hold MHACBO certification as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA), which includes:
- A Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science field, or
- A combination of three years of relevant work experience, education, or training.
Experience: Candidates should possess:
- A minimum of one year of experience in the mental health field.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to supervise effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant systems and programs.
Licenses and Certifications: A valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record are required. Certification as a QMHA must be maintained throughout employment, along with CPR/First Aid certification.
