We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Adult Residential Specialist to join our team at Klamath Basin Behavioral Health. As a key member of our residential program, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care for residents.
- Provide life skills training and limited psycho-social interventions to support residents' mental health and well-being.
- Administer medications and perform basic nursing duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Participate in residential service planning and act as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
- Provide therapeutic interventions with residents as prescribed by the Residential Service Plan.
- Monitor safety and security of the environment and lead or assist in managing behavioral emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records of resident contacts, attendance, and other documentation required by state and county regulations.
- Valid Oregon driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Personal automobile insurance if clients are transported or agency business is conducted using a personal vehicle.
- MHACBO QMHA certification and CPR/First Aid certification.
- Experience working with adults diagnosed with mental illness or any disability group preferred.
