Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team at New Horizons - Klamath Falls. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to our clients, assisting with daily tasks, and promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Care and Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
- Errands and Transportation: Assist clients with errands, transportation, and other tasks that require mobility.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist with Healthcare Needs: Assist clients with medication management, wound care, and other healthcare-related tasks.
- Personal Care: Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, including administration and reminders.
- DSP Opportunities: Support individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their independence and inclusion in community activities.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- No experience needed - we provide paid training and mentorship
