Technical Sales Specialist I

HORIBA Instruments is on the lookout for a motivated individual to become a key player in their sales team for the Mid Atlantic Region of the United States. If you possess a strong drive for scientific equipment sales and thrive in a dynamic environment, this position is tailored for you.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote and sell company offerings within the designated territory with minimal oversight.
- Address customer inquiries and conduct engaging product demonstrations.
- Foster customer interest in scientific equipment, prepare detailed quotations, and meet established sales objectives.
- Participate in industry trade shows and connect with emerging scientific markets.
- Manage a digital marketing portfolio and cultivate robust client relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, providing recommendations for product enhancements.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant scientific field; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Ph.D. are preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, particularly with technical and optical/spectroscopy products.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Self-driven, results-oriented, and quick to learn.
