Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bilingual Call Center Representative to join our team at Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our patients via phone, ensuring a positive and supportive experience with our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering calls and scheduling appointments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing accurate and clear information about appointments and services
  • Collecting relevant information to determine the type of appointment to schedule
  • Screening clients for financial status, fee information, and funding options
  • Understanding funding sources to discuss with clients, as appropriate
  • Processing online appointment requests when needed
  • Collecting insurance information and verifying coverage
  • Problem-solving and triaging calls and questions to appropriate medical personnel
  • Maintaining confidentiality and exercising respect and sensitivity while dealing with sensitive issues with clients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare or customer service work
  • Experience in a call center or healthcare setting is helpful
  • Data entry skills and understanding of business office procedures are helpful
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
