Additionally, the Consultant contributes to a positive workplace culture by respecting colleagues at all levels and promoting a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibit exemplary sales techniques for retail and custom clothing, as well as special occasion rentals, following management training and corporate guidelines.
  • Encourage teamwork and actively participate in collaborative selling efforts.
  • Establish rapport with customers from the initial greeting through to post-sale follow-up.
  • Monitor and positively influence store sales performance and metrics, while achieving personal sales targets.
  • Utilize tailoring services for alterations whenever possible, or provide accurate fitting recommendations when tailors are unavailable.
  • Assist in receiving and organizing merchandise, ensuring the store is clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing according to merchandising standards.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts, adhering to brand guidelines for all visual presentation tasks.
  • Help safeguard company property by monitoring security and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Participate in inventory counts as requested, promptly reporting any issues to management.
  • Actively engage as a team member, being accountable for both individual and collective performance in achieving team objectives.
  • Maintain a harassment-free workplace by adhering to the company's Anti-Discrimination and Harassment policies and reporting any concerns to management.

Physical and Mental Requirements

The role requires the ability to bend, squat, and reach for merchandise, as well as to assist customers with fitting and alterations. Candidates must be able to climb ladders, lift items overhead, and operate a computer and cash register efficiently. The position involves standing and walking for extended periods, with frequent physical activity including bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity is necessary to distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.

Work Schedule

This position may require flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs.
