Summary: This role involves overseeing operations related to oil and gas wells, ensuring efficient performance and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be prepared for non-scheduled call-outs beyond regular working hours.
  • Manage various types of wells, including flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal.
  • Oversee facilities such as production tank batteries, flow-lines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection, and metering devices.
  • Execute duties while adhering to safe work practices and environmental protocols to optimize revenue and minimize expenses on assigned oil and gas properties.
  • Conduct daily inspections of multiple well sites using a vehicle.
  • Test, calibrate, and resolve equipment and mechanical issues.
  • Complete necessary documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain cleanliness and perform field upkeep.

Required Competencies:

  • Proficient in computer operations, particularly within a MS Windows environment.

  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills within a team setting.
  • General mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Physical activities such as walking, bending, and stooping are necessary.
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators.
  • Ability to respond to visual and audible alarms.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an Oil & Gas Lease Operator is required.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas production operations is essential.
  • Strong computer skills are necessary.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required; some college or technical training is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record is mandatory.
  • Candidates should reside within a reasonable distance from the job site.
  • Must fulfill all conditional job offer requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
