Key Responsibilities:

Operate various types of wells including flowing, beam pump (with electronic pump-off controller), plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal. Manage facilities such as production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT (lease automatic custody transfer) facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection, and metering devices. Ensure safe work practices while implementing environmentally acceptable procedures to maximize earnings and minimize costs on assigned oil and gas properties. Conduct daily monitoring of multiple well sites using a vehicle. Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical issues. Complete mandatory paperwork required by clients and regulatory agencies. Maintain general housekeeping and field upkeep.

Required Competencies:

Proficient in computer operations within a MS Windows environment. Strong initiative and self-motivation. Ability to maintain accurate and organized records. Multi-tasking skills with a focus on prioritization. Excellent interpersonal communication skills in a collaborative environment. General mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilities. Ability to identify and address operational inefficiencies. Understanding of business fundamentals. Capability to implement cost-effective solutions. Technical skills related to mathematics and analytical reasoning. Awareness of the importance of environmental and safety practices.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lease Operator or Well Runner. Knowledge of oil & gas production operations is essential. Ability to work effectively both in a team and independently without direct supervision. High School diploma or GED equivalent is required; some college or technical training is preferred. Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record; must meet all conditional job offer requirements including background checks and fitness assessments. Candidates must reside in the specified region to qualify.
