Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Affordable Housing Property Manager to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the overall performance of our affordable housing properties, including rent collection, lease administration, and maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction, retention, and occupancy levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including Fair Housing Act, Section 504, and other relevant requirements.
  • Supervise and train on-site staff, including leasing agents, maintenance personnel, and other support staff.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including accounting, marketing, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure our properties remain competitive and compliant.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in affordable housing property management, including LIHTC, HUD programs, and other relevant programs.
  • Affordable Housing Accreditation (e.g., HCCP, HCP-E, COS, BOS, TCS, CPO) or other applicable designations in affordable programs.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably within residential property management.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate required; college degree in a relatable field preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, Google Apps, and property management-related software.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
