Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Sargent & Lundy, LLC. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems for our nuclear power projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems, including piping, HVAC, and process systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet project requirements
- Develop and implement mechanical system designs, including 3D modeling and simulation
- Conduct site visits to inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the nuclear power industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, development, and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
