Drive Commercial Growth in the Semiconductor Service Industry

As a Business Development Manager - Semiconductor Service at Edwards Vacuum, you will play a crucial role in driving profitable growth of the US Semiconductor service business. Your key responsibilities will include identifying new OnTool (Fab) and Sub-Fab Service offerings, developing commercial strategies and proposals, and assisting with key account plans and market sector plans for North America Semiconductor Service.

You will act as the Voice of the Customer, providing guidance for product development and deployment. Your analytical, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills will be essential in managing all aspects of Service regional pricing policy and discount entitlement management within global guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of service revenue, margin targets, forecasts, and measurements to report achievements.
  • Assist Service Sales Director in defining annual service share and penetration targets with the Business Line Managers and the Customer Center General Manager.
  • Act as part of the US Customer Center Service management team to develop the supporting infrastructure and resources required to deliver Customer Center and Divisional strategies.
  • Assist in the management of all aspects of Service regional pricing policy and discount entitlement management within global guidelines.
  • Drive, coordinate, and report on the implementation of new Service Products and Service Marketing campaigns in the region.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of marketing collateral materials for Edwards Service, Sales, Customer Care staff, channel partners, and Distributors if appropriate.
  • Assist in the development of financial models to quantify and demonstrate the value of performance-based service contracts to our customers.
  • Assist in developing, measuring, and reporting revenue, margin targets, and forecasts.
  • Support the service supply chain and Service Technology Centers (STCs) to achieve share and penetration targets.
  • Assist in the development of regional pricing and discounting policy within global guidelines.
  • Drive, coordinate, and report on the implementation of new service products and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with service and sales to define and present service plans and proposals for key customers and ensure that plans are reviewed regularly and adapted as needed to meet achievements.
  • Obtain and compile information on our equipment and competitors in the region to propose strategies and build a customer preference for Edwards over alternative.
  • Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
  • Respectfully take direction from manager and follow through with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in an advanced technology environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years in marketing, product management, or other commercially-oriented role in a service business or Business-to-Business Sales.
  • MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills.
  • Availability for travel within the US.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills.
