We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-centric Phone Support Specialist to join our team at Centene Corporation. As a Phone Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional service to our 28 million members by resolving routine inquiries, issues, or concerns.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong ability to empathize with others, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. You will be responsible for leveraging various communication channels to provide timely, accurate, and personalized support to members and providers.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $17.17 and $26.97 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides timely, accurate, and personalized support to members and providers through various communication channels.
  • Assesses and researches routine member and/or provider inquiries, requests, and/or concerns to determine causes and initiate corrective actions.
  • Mitigates and prevents complaints from being escalated by resolving them in the initial contact.
  • Serves as the front-line resolution advocate on various member and/or provider inquiries, requests, or concerns.
  • Documents all member or provider information and communications for quality and performance tracking through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical education may be preferred.
  • 1-2 years of related experience in a contact center environment, interacting with members and/or providers.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
