Compensation Range: Competitive salary ranging from $100k to $180k, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

These systems are a primary focus for the Department of Defense, aimed at modernization efforts. Located in Longmont, CO, we are committed to crafting robust and compact solutions capable of functioning in demanding environments. Our methodology includes analytical design to produce resilient and athermalized solutions. We are on the lookout for motivated Mechanical Engineers who are passionate about integrating HEL weapon systems and contributing to pioneering solutions, envisioning the potential of attaching lasers to marine predators.

Job Description: Spearhead the development of advanced laser and electro-optical systems by rapidly generating efficient and dependable opto-mechanical designs. Employ DFX and other design principles to create manufacturing-friendly, cost-effective solutions that exceed design specifications. Develop durable tooling and process equipment for high-volume production.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, analyze, and assemble opto-mechanical systems from initial concept through to integration.
  • Oversee and participate in engineering builds, procurement, and assembly processes.
  • Provide mentorship to team members.
