Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at our Longmont, CO location. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, working closely with our team of engineers and technicians to ensure that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Duties:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including machine design and layout
  • Work closely with the mechanical engineering department to ensure that designs meet performance, budget, and timeline requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments, including controls, software, purchasing, fabrication, applications, and service
  • Generate technical concepts, layouts, and cost calculations
  • Make customer site visits as necessary to resolve field issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Education/Experience & Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. A master's degree is preferred, but a combination of experience and education will be considered. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability in machine design, preferably in the packaging/robotic machines industry.
