Position:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Longmont, CO. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, working closely with our engineering team to ensure that our products meet performance, budget, and timeline requirements.

Duties include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems from concept to completion
  • Collaborating with our engineering team to ensure that our products meet performance, budget, and timeline requirements
  • Working closely with our customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations
  • Generating technical concepts, layouts, and cost calculations
  • Making customer site visits as necessary to help solve field issues

Education/Experience & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. A master's degree is preferred, but a combination of experience and education will be considered. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to interact and work as a team with other engineers, and have knowledge of mechanical engineering development processes using SolidWorks, ACAD, FEA, and related engineering software techniques.
