Inside Sales Representative for Chromatography Solutions

Position Overview
Agilent is on the lookout for a driven, competitive, and enthusiastic individual to join our inside sales division as a Chromatography Sales Development Representative. This role focuses on enhancing Agilent's market presence in the North American region, specifically within the chromatography and mass spectrometry sectors in the life sciences field.
As a dedicated market expert, your primary responsibilities will include identifying, cultivating, and securing orders from customers who are not currently purchasing chromatography and mass spectrometry equipment from Agilent. This will be achieved primarily through digital communication channels such as phone and email. Your success will depend on effectively collaborating with the broader Agilent team, including product specialists, field representatives, application engineers, marketing, and service teams, to devise strategies and implement tactics aimed at attracting new clientele to Agilent.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Actively seek out new customers and business opportunities using digital tools and analytics.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage the sales cycle and accurately forecast sales for chromatography and mass spectrometry within your territory.
- Collaborate with various Agilent channels, including consumable sales, service sales, diagnostic and genomics sales, marketing, and customer service.
- Provide prompt responses to all customer inquiries.
- Maintain thorough updates in CRM systems, including forecasting, marketing attributes, and customer contact details.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in life science sales or laboratory experience with liquid chromatography.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Preferred experience in sales and proficiency in related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Familiarity and comfort with digital selling tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills, with a strong inclination to engage directly with customers.
- General proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant systems to perform job functions.
- Experience with SAP CRM is a plus.
