Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Account Representative to join our team at John Simpson - State Farm Agent. As an Insurance Account Representative, you will play a critical role in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing them with personalized service and support.
  • Insurance Needs Assessment: Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options and identify their needs.
  • Marketing and Sales: Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals, develop leads, schedule appointments, and market appropriate products and services.
  • Community Involvement: Assist the agent in identifying and supporting local community events in our market.
  • Marketing Support: Collaborate with the agent to help manage the website and social media content.
  • Work Ethic: Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

Requirements
  • Sales Experience: Possess sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred.
  • Meeting Sales Goals: Have a successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred.
  • Marketing Skills: Be interested in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Communication Skills: Have excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Be enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess organizational skills and be able to multi-task.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Be proactive in problem-solving and able to make presentations to potential customers.
  • Insurance Licenses: Possess a Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain) and a Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
