Position Summary

The Customer Service Representatives (CSR) at BBA Aviation are tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are essential to the successful operation of our fixed base operations (FBO). CSRs are often the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring that every interaction is characterized by professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy. Their role is crucial in ensuring that all concierge and related services are delivered accurately and efficiently, in line with our established protocols. While customer service remains the primary focus, a significant portion of the CSR's daily responsibilities involves utilizing computer systems, requiring a high degree of focus and attention to detail in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

CSRs are expected to:
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to provide a warm welcome to all visitors.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and identifying additional services that may benefit clients.
  • Respond efficiently to questions and concerns from vendors, customers, and colleagues.
  • Process customer transactions accurately, including purchases and fuel requests, in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of BBA Aviation's facilities, services, and local area information.
  • Ensure the replenishment of complimentary refreshments and supplies as per facility standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
  • Provide a variety of concierge services, including making reservations and arranging transportation.
  • Assist pilots with access to necessary airport and weather information.
  • Support visitors with luggage handling and other related tasks.
  • Follow emergency response protocols during critical situations.
  • Propose enhancements to operational standards and procedures to management.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor and courtesy towards all individuals at all times.
  • Adhere to all security protocols as mandated by the company and relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work hours and activities.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license where applicable.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor.
  • The ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Legal authorization to work in the respective country.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and in diverse weather conditions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Preferred: Experience in aviation, hospitality, or customer service.
