Fueling Specialist

A Fueler is a crucial member of our team at Signature Flight Support Corporation, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient fueling and servicing of aircraft. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Fueling and De-fueling Operations: Perform fueling and de-fueling operations in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and procedures.
• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in clean and functional condition, ensuring that all necessary checks and maintenance tasks are completed.
• Accurate Accounting: Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and accurate.
• De-icing Functions: Perform de-icing functions as required, following all relevant procedures and guidelines.
• Communication: Clearly communicate with colleagues and management, providing updates on fueling operations and any issues that may arise.

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); three (3) to six (3) months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Age: Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Background Checks: Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's insurance policies.
• Language: Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of fueling and de-fueling procedures for various aircraft, deicing procedures, and fueling procedure for various ground equipment preferred. Must possess a valid state driver's license and successfully complete Company's PST program. Commercial Driver License (HI locations) required.

Pay Range: $25.00 to $27.50 / hour, based on multiple factors including skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, travel.

Work Environment: The tasks are performed inside and outside near stationary and moving aircraft (including spinning propellers and engines), in varying weather and environmental conditions, such as precipitation, extreme temperatures, jet engine fumes, dust, and noise.

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide and ability to perform mathematical functions with regard to weight, measurement and volume.
• Clearly communicate in English with others in person, via telephone, radio communicators, and in writing for purposes of performing certain job duties and safety.
• Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.
• Report to work in a regular and timely basis.
