Job Summary:

As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a vital role in coordinating the day-to-day activities and management of patient access services in a clinical setting. This includes pre-registration, registration, admissions, payment collection, and other functions. You will assume responsibility for communication systems within departments and provide guidance to staff within established work areas and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain all required information for admission and discharge, including insurance provider information, financial information, and other necessary details.
  • Coordinate payment collection processes and maintain communication between departments to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Five years' relevant experience: Preferred
