We are seeking a skilled Leasing Consultant to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 6 months' experience in the multi-family housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • Possess a strong understanding of apartment leasing and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Experience with property management software is advantageous (e.g., AMSI, Yardi, Rent Roll, OneSite, eSite).
  • Bilingual candidates are highly sought after.
  • Experience with luxury properties, lease-ups, renovations, and tax credit properties is beneficial.
  • Utilize accounting software to record and analyze financial information.
  • Familiarity with the Apartment Association lease and credit report application is essential.
  • Process rental payments and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and company policies and regulations.
  • Prepare bank deposit slips and maintain accurate records of collected funds.
  • Ensure all vendor documents are current and accurately processed.
  • Communicate effectively with the Property Manager regarding invoice accuracy and payment processing.
  • Manage timely approval and payment of invoices from properties.
  • Resolve vendor and payment disputes by accessing financial information.
  • Verify accuracy of entries and prepare accounting statements for former residents.
  • Assist in lease transactions by preparing documents and gathering applicant information.
  • Maintain accurate records of commissions related to leases and renewals.
  • Provide general administrative support to the community office.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in the multi-family housing industry.
  • Willingness to undergo drug screening when requested.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Possession of a leasing license is advantageous.
