As a Leasing Professional, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service to both current and prospective residents, ensuring resident retention and successful apartment leasing. This position reports directly to the property manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome prospective residents and conduct property tours while assessing their housing needs and preferences.
- Accurately prepare and assist new residents with all necessary leasing documentation, including lease move-in packets, applications, lease agreements, and employment and credit checks.
- Collect security deposits, rent, and any additional charges related to resident move-ins.
- Communicate all lease and community policies to both new and existing residents.
- Follow up with all leads and prospects who did not proceed with leasing.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in by performing inspections and making any necessary final adjustments.
- Utilize creative marketing strategies to attract new residents.
- Oversee the lease renewal process.
- Respond promptly to all inquiries via phone, email, and site visits.
Qualifications:
Must be fluent in both English and Spanish with the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, are required. Familiarity with leasing software such as Yardi, Blue Moon, Onesite, or MRI is advantageous. Availability to work weekends is necessary.
