Your Contribution

  • Protects assets and ensures the accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing internal audits, controls, and checks across all departments.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by analyzing existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; preparing financial reports; advising management on necessary actions.
  • Oversees the accuracy and efficiency of daily activities related to revenue recognition, accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing, payroll, fixed asset records, general and entity accounting, and cost accounting.
  • Monitors and verifies financial status by conducting audits and providing information to external audit firms.
  • Assists in the timely issuance of monthly financial records.
  • Ensures financial strategies align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborates with external audit firms, banks, and insurance agents.
  • Provides visionary leadership for the Accounting/Finance department, fostering a respected and sought-after team.
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information and plans.
  • Supervises the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, focusing on their control systems, transaction processing, and policies.
  • Directs the overall management, coordination, and evaluation of the Accounting/Finance Department.
  • Executes supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Conducts interviews, hires, plans, assigns tasks, directs work, rewards, disciplines employees, and manages performance reviews while addressing complaints and resolving issues.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from an accredited institution; Master's preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPA certification is mandatory.
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical guidelines, or governmental regulations.
  • Capability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
  • Strong and persuasive presentation skills on complex topics to senior management, public groups, and/or boards.
  • Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts for bookkeeping, payroll, budgets, statistical analysis, and probability statements.
  • Must exercise the highest level of discretion in all communications.
