POSITION OVERVIEW

The Evening Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the restaurant to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This role involves managing the activities of hourly team members and assumes leadership in the absence of senior management. The Evening Operations Manager plays a crucial role in driving financial performance, operational excellence, staff training, customer engagement, and adherence to all company policies and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

DAILY OPERATIONS

  • Supervise all daily restaurant activities to guarantee compliance with company standards for food quality, service excellence, and cleanliness.
  • Lead and mentor team members, demonstrating strong leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Assign and oversee daily tasks for staff members.
  • Manage cash register reconciliations at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards among staff.
  • Ensure adherence to local and federal regulations regarding safety and food handling.

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM MANAGEMENT

  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
  • Engage in effective communication with the General Manager, Shift Leaders, team members, customers, suppliers, and the local community.
  • Facilitate team meetings as directed by upper management.
  • Implement the directives of the General Manager and achieve set objectives.
  • Review goals with Shift Leaders and team members as needed.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately.
  • Address employee concerns, questions, or issues as they arise.

WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including extended shifts.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Regular interaction with customers, requiring professionalism and courtesy.
  • Frequent engagement with team members, necessitating guidance and oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent mathematical skills and comfort with numerical data.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Exhibit maturity and professionalism consistently.
  • Friendly and approachable personality.
  • Maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Possess a positive attitude and self-discipline.
  • Background check in accordance with company standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Physical Environment:

Quick service and fast-casual dining establishment

Schedule:

10-hour shifts
8-hour shifts
Night shifts
Weekdays and weekends availability

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Valid Driver's License (required)
