POSITION SUMMARY / MISSION:

The Business Insights and Veeva CRM Specialist will enhance organizational decision-making by delivering comprehensive analysis, identifying market dynamics, and improving operational efficiency. This role encompasses the administration, configuration, and support of the Veeva CRM platform, ensuring it is tailored to align with business processes and objectives. This position also provides a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility for remote work or collaboration from the office.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Evaluate commercial sales and market data to uncover trends, project demand, and assess the success of sales and marketing initiatives.


• Create and sustain sales reporting and executive dashboards.


• Partner with sales, marketing, and IT departments to collect and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.


• Design and maintain reports and dashboards that deliver insights into sales and marketing effectiveness.


• Conduct routine quality assessments to ensure data accuracy and adherence to company standards.


• Monitor and analyze competitors' strategies, sales outcomes, and market activities to guide strategic planning.


• Assist in the development and upkeep of reference documentation, including standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, and training materials.


• Prepare in-depth reports and presentations for management, emphasizing business performance, market trends, and strategic opportunities.


• Manage and configure the Veeva CRM system to fulfill business needs.


• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Veeva CRM system, collaborating with Veeva support as necessary.


• Provide continuous support and training to end-users, ensuring proficiency in utilizing the Veeva CRM system.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, data science, information technology, or a related discipline.


• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data governance.


• Proven expertise in Veeva CRM administration and support.


• Strong grasp of CRM principles and best practices.


• Proficient in analytical software and tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI).


• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:


• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.


• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA.


• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization techniques.


• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and predictive modeling.


• CRM Administration: Experience with Veeva CRM, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.


• Knowledge of Veeva CRM integrations with other platforms (e.g., ERP, marketing automation).


• Awareness of regulatory requirements concerning CRM data management.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:


• SQL: Proficient in querying and manipulating relational databases.


• Data Visualization: Skilled in tools like Tableau or Power BI to develop insightful dashboards and reports.


• Programming Languages: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python for data analysis and automation.


• Databricks: Experience with Databricks for data engineering, including the development and maintenance of data processing pipelines.


• Data Quality Analysis: Competence in ensuring data integrity and performing regular audits.


• Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and services, particularly those related to CRM and data management.
