Financial Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in our financial planning and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to understand and report on the financial performance of the business.
- Develop financial models and conduct benchmarking to support financial planning and forecasting.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large amounts of data and generate insightful reports.
- Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Participate in the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Perform variance analysis and prepare detailed reports explaining the causes of any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.
- Continually improve the financial reporting process by identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, variance analysis, and manufacturing accounting.
- Proficiency in using advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
- Proven ability to prepare accurate monthly financial reports.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
