Key Responsibilities

  • Provide intermediate support for applications and databases, executing technical procedures to address production challenges after thorough evaluation.
  • Monitor production systems for alerts, outages, and operational issues. Conduct research and perform root cause analysis to mitigate risks, implementing effective solutions and development initiatives.
  • Ensure timely resolution of support requests in accordance with service level agreements, while effectively communicating status updates and resolutions.
  • Draft and revise production support documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify areas for enhancement and propose actionable recommendations, assisting in the implementation of changes.
  • Build and maintain robust working relationships with business partners.
  • Engage in special projects and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Portfolio Management within the investment banking sector is essential.
  • A structured approach to troubleshooting is crucial. The ideal candidate possesses a technical background, a desire to understand system inefficiencies, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience, including at least one year in Information Technology.
  • An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required, with a preference for degrees in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • Familiarity with AWS development and operational requirements, along with AWS developer or architect certifications, is preferred.
  • Experience in Investment Management and front office equity roles is necessary.
  • A background in the Financial or Investment Industry is required.
  • Willingness to work onsite is mandatory.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Experience working on software development teams with the ability to gather and document system requirements is preferred.
