POSITION SUMMARY

The Administrative Supervisor for Adult Medicine plays a crucial role within the Hamilton management team, overseeing the operations of the Adult Medicine clinical department. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services while adhering to cost-efficiency and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include directing and coordinating the staff within Hamilton's Adult Medicine department.

The Administrative Supervisor will undertake a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

  1. Leading and managing clinic supervisory personnel to enhance productivity and customer service, including establishing work schedules, practice assignments, recruitment, staff development, and performance evaluations.
  2. Collaborating with clinic staff to support compliance with various programs and ensuring adherence to guidelines.
  3. Facilitating appropriate staff training and ensuring compliance with immunization schedules as per CDC guidelines.
  4. Overseeing the management of office and medical supplies to guarantee adequate inventory levels without expired products.
  5. Cooperating with Hamilton administration and departments to promote integrated patient care services.
  6. Working with the Facilities department to ensure efficient operations of electronic medical records (EMR).
  7. Maintaining knowledge of each position within the department.
  8. Monitoring patient and employee relations and satisfaction, developing action plans to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
  9. Managing information and financial data to assess performance and implement improvement plans.
  10. Maintaining confidentiality and security when handling information.
  11. Attending meetings, preparing reports, and delivering presentations to staff and other departments.
  12. Providing support to clinical teams regarding EMR and population health tools.
  13. Overseeing quality initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  14. Participating in revenue cycle efforts to meet productivity and revenue targets.
  15. Demonstrating commitment to established workplace values, including Innovation, Integrity, Quality, Accountability, Respect, Commitment, and Inclusion.
  16. Traveling as required throughout the service area.
  17. Performing additional duties as assigned to support the mission and ensure the delivery of high-quality services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent is required; Medical Assistant Certification is necessary, with an Associate's degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three years of leadership experience in an ambulatory care setting is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Electronic Medical Records is essential.

Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to motivate and lead teams, and experience in resource management and quality measures are crucial. The candidate should possess excellent analytical, operational, and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The role involves routine office conditions, with potential exposure to various environmental factors. The candidate must be capable of performing physical tasks associated with the position.
