Job Overview

As a Senior Systems Engineer at KIHOMAC, you will play a pivotal role in steering a diverse team within a collaborative framework. Your leadership will be essential in guiding technical projects and fostering an environment of innovation and respect.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a cross-functional team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Exhibit expertise in program and functional leadership, providing direction and mentorship to engineering professionals.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and reviews, both internally and with external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders to optimize project execution in terms of cost, technical performance, and schedule.
  • Contribute to team development by identifying growth opportunities and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Engage in business development efforts, including crafting technical responses and developing cost estimates.
  • Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, fostering an atmosphere of trust and respect.
  • Identify necessary actions to ensure successful project completion.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline is mandatory.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in systems design and development.
  • Familiarity with the systems engineering lifecycle and Department of Defense (DoD) design review protocols.
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of various systems engineering tools, with preference for Cameo.
  • Strong grasp of simulation techniques to support systems analysis, including discrete event simulation.
  • Background in the development and/or testing of aircraft or military components is advantageous.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is essential.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Eligibility to obtain a security clearance may be necessary.
