Position Overview

As an Electrical Systems Engineer at KIHOMAC, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and testing of sophisticated electrical and electronic systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Support the creation and interpretation of detailed aircraft wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Standards Compliance: Demonstrate knowledge of military standards and technical orders relevant to aircraft wiring and connectors.
  • Requirements Analysis: Interpret and implement specific design and testing requirements to meet project goals.
  • Documentation Management: Analyze and assist in updating technical documentation for legacy aircraft systems.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses for subsystem components, including software validation and risk assessments.
  • Problem Resolution: Apply specialized knowledge to address design challenges impacting subsystem performance.
  • Comprehensive Analysis: Perform evaluations across various subsystem components encompassing design, fabrication, testing, integration, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Requirements Derivation: Ensure systematic derivation of component and interface requirements into effective design solutions, considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Risk Identification: Identify and quantify risks associated with design and implementation processes.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline is required.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the relevant field is essential. Experience in developing and testing aircraft or military components is preferred.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and subject matter experts are critical for success in this role.

Communication: Excellent professional and interpersonal communication skills are necessary.

Security Clearance

Must be a US citizen, with the ability to obtain a security clearance as required.
