Position Overview

As a Senior Electrical Engineer at KIHOMAC, you will play a pivotal role in the design, execution, and testing of intricate electrical and electronic systems. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the advancement of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Support: Assist in the development and implementation of complex electrical systems.
  • Requirements Interpretation: Analyze and apply specific design and testing criteria effectively.
  • Documentation Analysis: Review and update technical documentation for legacy systems.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct assessments for subsystem components, ensuring compliance with validation and verification standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate risks associated with component supportability and design effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Program Managers and Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders to optimize project execution.
  • Team Development: Foster team growth through identifying opportunities and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Cultural Advocacy: Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline is required.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the relevant field is essential. Experience in developing or testing aircraft or military components is preferred.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, leadership capabilities, and the ability to guide and mentor a team of engineers are crucial. Presentation skills suitable for leading technical reviews and meetings are also necessary.

Business Development: Experience in supporting business development efforts, including technical responses and cost estimations, is advantageous.

Security Clearance: Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance if required.
