Position Summary: We are seeking a Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and Business Growth to lead our efforts within the Global Technology Operations (GTO) division. GTO stands as a global frontrunner in delivering essential technology and operational solutions tailored for Investment Banks, Broker-dealers, Wealth Managers, and Investment Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in the formulation, leadership, execution, and oversight of both short-term and long-term growth strategies, with a primary emphasis on enhancing revenue and profitability within Capital Markets.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities while evaluating potential business ventures.
  • Collaborate with GTO business unit leaders and the corporate M&A team to spearhead initiatives focused on sourcing, managing, and executing new business opportunities.
  • Oversee the governance and monitoring of business development initiatives to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Conduct financial feasibility assessments and propose new business ventures.
  • Identify and cultivate new market, product, and growth opportunities in partnership with the GTO management team and business unit leaders.
  • Analyze market, client, and industry trends that may influence GTO's growth strategies and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Pinpoint and evaluate promising market segments and adjacent areas for growth investment.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across various business units and corporate functions to ensure alignment with GTO strategies.
  • Effectively organize, create, and present ideas to all management levels, including C-Suite executives.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and analytical skills with a focus on results.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple teams and business units.
  • Experience interacting with executives both internally and externally.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adept at synthesizing complex concepts and presenting information compellingly.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the financial/securities industry, particularly in Capital Markets, with prior strategic experience from a top-tier consulting firm being advantageous.
