Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Field Mechanics to join our team at Frontier Environmental Services. As a Field Mechanic, you will be responsible for traveling to job sites and performing technical work related to the mechanical repairs of CAT, Hyundai, Deer, and Kobelco construction equipment, heavy trucks, and trailers.

Requirements:

  • Experience in repairing and maintaining construction equipment and heavy trucks, preferably in the construction, oil and gas, or related industries
  • Welding experience is a plus
  • General mechanic's tool set capable of supporting a heavy equipment fleet
  • Must pass a DOT drug screening and criminal background check

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure equipment is available and in safe working order to meet project milestones and completion dates
  • Produce timely and detailed service reports, repair logs, and diagnose equipment using OEM software
  • Perform heavy work, exerting more than 50 pounds of force constantly, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and ability to climb, kneel, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, and push

Working Conditions:

Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including dry, wet, and humid environments, with temperatures ranging from below freezing to 90+ degrees. Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors, and vibrations. Moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment.
