Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated Field Mechanics to travel to various job locations and carry out specialized mechanical repairs on CAT, Hyundai, Deer, and Kobelco construction machinery, as well as heavy trucks and trailers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of construction machinery and heavy vehicles. Background in construction, oil and gas, or similar industries is preferred.
  • Welding skills are advantageous.
  • Possession of a complete mechanic's tool set suitable for servicing a heavy equipment fleet.
  • Must successfully complete DOT drug screening and a criminal background investigation.

Key Attributes for Success:

  • A strong sense of urgency to ensure that equipment is operational and ready to meet project deadlines.
  • Proficient computer skills for generating detailed service reports, repair logs, and equipment diagnostics using our OEM software.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving objects weighing over 50 pounds, as well as climbing, kneeling, standing, walking, crouching, stooping, reaching, pulling, and pushing.

Work Environment:

Work is conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions, including dry, wet, and humid environments, with temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 90 degrees. Employees may be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, mists, odors, and vibrations, with noise levels typically moderate to loud.
