Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the prompt collection of payment requests from subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and record subcontractor payment requests.
  • Monitor monthly lien waiver submissions.
  • Prepare monthly payment requests for owner review in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  • Compile and finalize the owner payment request documentation.
  • Review and organize supporting documents for owner payment requests.
  • Analyze project job costs on a monthly basis to identify discrepancies.
  • Support accounts receivable aging processes.
  • Assist in project audit preparations.
  • Help in the collection of lien releases from suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to the collection and tracking of prevailing wage documentation.
Qualifications:

  • We seek a meticulous team player capable of delivering high-quality work in a dynamic environment while adhering to critical deadlines.
  • Strong listening abilities along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting position within the construction sector.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and other MS Office tools, as well as familiarity with Bluebeam, Sage 100, and Procore.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of project personnel and organizational structure.
