Key Responsibilities:

The daily responsibilities of a Lead Financial Reporting Analyst at VF encompass a variety of critical tasks.

This role is integral to the VF Accounting team, focusing on high-level financial reporting to senior management and various external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The position involves a blend of internal and external reporting, analytical responsibilities, and financial accounting projects. Additionally, the Lead Financial Reporting Analyst plays a key role in the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and strategic planning processes for the supported brands.

Here’s a closer look at the daily tasks:

  • Oversee month-end closing activities by preparing and entering necessary journal entries.
  • Analyze month-end financial results and consolidate variance explanations.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and distribute comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages to internal management and corporate stakeholders; assist in the preparation of quarterly reporting presentations.
  • Conduct account reconciliations for assigned accounts and provide detailed analysis and reporting on reconciled accounts.
  • Support the monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term strategic planning processes.
  • Manage special projects and provide ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and other PC applications.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Competence in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Additionally, while not mandatory, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CMA or CPA certification.
  • Experience with SAP software.

Compensation Range:

$59,200.00 - $74,000.00 annually

Incentive Opportunities:
