Position Summary

The Lead Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for maintaining support, ensuring data integrity, generating ad hoc reports, and overseeing daily operations related to the organization's financial and accounting systems. This position is part of the financial systems team and will focus on enhancing system capabilities, streamlining processes, and transforming how finance utilizes technology.
  • System Oversight: Administers financial system applications including Deltek Costpoint, Time and Expense, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Cognos. Directs the configuration and customization of financial systems to meet business needs and optimize performance. Manages security controls to protect financial data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Develops and oversees interfaces with other systems to promote seamless data integration. Monitors system performance and implements strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime. Provides user support for system-related inquiries.
  • Reporting Responsibilities: Addresses ad hoc requests for new report creation and updates to existing reports. Utilizes IBM Cognos Analytics and Microsoft Power BI, applying data validation techniques to ensure the accuracy and reliability of all reporting.
  • Business Analysis: Evaluates business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation. Maintains comprehensive documentation of systems and processes to accurately represent the current state. Advises finance personnel, offering insights into system capabilities and proposing innovative solutions to meet business needs. Leads the design, development, and implementation of finance system upgrades and enhancements. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of finance systems with other business applications. Engages with senior leadership to build positive relationships and align with finance strategies and organizational objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent post-secondary education and/or related work experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of progressive experience managing financial and accounting systems, such as Deltek Costpoint.
  • Experience supporting enterprise web applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting technical requirements and translating them into actionable project plans.
  • Experience in communicating technical information to a non-technical audience.
Salary Range

$100,000 - $125,000

The base pay for this position may vary within the posted range based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
