Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst at Oakwood Village

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the financial planning and analytical processes at Oakwood Village. This position is responsible for the formulation of the annual budget, conducting monthly variance assessments, and analyzing data to identify growth opportunities. The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Controller.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and present annual operating and capital budgets
  • Generate financial analyses and provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate on key performance metrics and financial reporting
  • Oversee the development of pricing strategies
  • Work closely with the Controller on financial forecasting
  • Engage in cross-departmental teams to enhance operational efficiency
  • Support fiscal management and profitability initiatives
  • Mitigate risks through effective contract oversight and cost management
  • Optimize investment returns through Treasury operations
  • Adopt a service-oriented approach with stakeholders
  • Offer informal leadership and mentorship within the Finance team
  • Perform additional duties as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required; MBA is preferred
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in accounting and management is required
  • Proficient in advanced Excel and familiar with accounting software
