Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students exhibiting behavioral difficulties in a supportive manner.
  • Engage in classroom management and contribute to the development of educational materials.
  • Support teachers by providing assistance in various classroom activities.
  • Monitor and document student progress throughout the day, utilizing visual aids as necessary.
  • Empower students by implementing strategies that highlight their strengths.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging environment for all students.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree, 60 college credits, or a ParaPro Certificate is required.
  • Experience in supporting children with behavioral challenges or special needs, including autism or medical fragility, is preferred.
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint background check and clearances is mandatory.
