Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Senior Research Associate or Associate Scientist specializing in formulation development to play a crucial role within our platform development team. This position is integral to our discovery research and development initiatives, focusing on the advancement of core delivery technologies for innovative nucleic acid-based therapeutics. The role involves crafting sophisticated lipid-based nano-formulations, optimizing the formulation processes, and investigating novel materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation of unique and groundbreaking nucleic acid-based formulations.
- Characterize product profiles to enhance process optimization and ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all experimental data, methodologies, and protocols.
- Organize and manage the storage and inventory of supplies and materials.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists to address challenges and foster innovation.
- Uphold high standards of scientific integrity and accountability.
- Facilitate communication across departments and support project teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience with nano-formulation of nucleic acid-based therapeutics, filtration techniques, and characterization of nanoparticulated materials.
- Proficiency in pipetting, buffer preparation, and use of analytical balances.
- Familiarity with HPLC, UV-Vis, and fluorescent plate assays is advantageous.
- Able to conduct independent research and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with a diverse team.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, creativity, enthusiasm, reliability, and meticulous attention to detail.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $74,000 - $120,000, with the final offer depending on various factors including experience and education.
