Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead the operations of Mira Vie at Forsgate Community. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service quality, resident satisfaction, and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Operations
  • Oversee the overall operation of the community, ensuring compliance with residents' needs, government regulations, and company policies.
  • Supervise and direct community staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Resident Services
  • Maintain high resident satisfaction and retention through consistent delivery of high-quality services.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff and residents in resolving issues and solving problems.
Financial Management
  • Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets, ensuring financial goals are met and exceeded.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and expense reduction.
Human Resources
  • Recruit, train, and develop high-quality staff, ensuring consistency in selection and retention.
  • Manage employee relations, including hiring, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Facilities and Maintenance
  • Ensure buildings, grounds, and property are maintained to company standards, through preventative maintenance systems and regular inspections.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain current departmental policies, procedures, and licenses, ensuring compliance with company, Federal, State, and local requirements.
Community Engagement
  • Foster a positive image within the community, engaging in social and civic affairs, and representing the facility and company to governmental agencies and other public entities.
Marketing and Sales
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to maximize occupancy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, gerontology, business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-4 years' related experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of the organization and industry.
  • State/Local certifications as required to be an administrator.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and organizational skills.
