Lead Financial Analyst
GRUBBRR is seeking a skilled Lead Financial Analyst to manage comprehensive accounting functions. This position will entail overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team, including but not limited to accounts receivable and payable, reconciling financial accounts, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and a deep understanding of accounting principles to evaluate financial statements and forecasts within our dynamic FinTech environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation and processing of monthly customer billing and collaborate with Customer Support to resolve any billing issues or customer inquiries.
  • Maintain and update revenue tracking reports, along with generating monthly and annual recurring revenue statements.
  • Execute daily accounting tasks such as invoicing, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, and ACH transactions.
  • Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations and update inventory tracking documentation.
  • Record monthly reconciliations concerning revenues, expenses, and intercompany transactions.
  • Work collaboratively across departments, including legal, sales, and operations, to support contract negotiations and provide guidance on revenue recognition in accordance with technical accounting policies.
  • Prepare monthly commission reports for sales personnel based on established compensation plans and performance metrics.
  • Review and reconcile Balance Sheet and Income Statement General Ledgers monthly, preparing necessary schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Engage in the month-end closing process, which includes creating month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, special reporting, and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Handle ad hoc requests and contribute to special projects, managing and reconciling income and expenditure accounts, as well as reconciling bank and credit card statements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, along with quarterly compliance reports.
  • Compile Monthly Consolidated Financial Statements reflecting the organization's financial performance and elucidate variances.
  • Participate in annual audits by preparing and providing account information and addressing auditors' inquiries.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with SaaS Revenue Recognition Rules and familiarity with the SaaS industry.
  • Ability to adhere to established processes while being innovative in developing scalable solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles with the capability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Capacity to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and communicate clearly.
  • 5-7 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or NetSuite is preferred.
